Last Friday, I spent the day at New Braunfels High School talking to students in four Criminal Justice classes taught by Jennifer Thompson.  I had a great time–they all paid attention, never looked bored and laughed when I said something funny.  What more could I ask for?

Today, I got a surprise in the mail: a big stack of letters written by those who heard me speak.  They thanked me for the stories I told, called me inspirational and were amazed by what I’ve done.    When I had teenagers living in my home, they never said those things.  LOL.

Thanks to Ms. Thompson, all her students and the kids who visited from other classes.  It was a great day.

I’m really looking forward to making a return visit next year.
